	Alpine Hands One of few Aussie bands taking part in this year's SXSW in Austin. They're on Sydney's Ivy League Records and they've been around since 2009. Six Melbourne-based members.		Father Sculptor Ember There's not much to find online about this constellation yet. They are based in Glasgow and currently support Spector on their Scotland mini tour. Keep an eye on this rising act!
	Clock Opera Man Made Kitsuné darlings who've just sold out Scala in London as part of the release of their highly anticipated debut album this week. The hype in UK seems well deserved, gaining BBC Radio 1 attention too.		Hannah Cohen Shadows Hannah's debut record "Child Bride" was produced by Thomas Bartlett known for his keyboard work with artists like The National. It's out now on Bella Union and it's worth some time from you.
	Dinosaur Feather Young Bucks As described over at their Facebook page "Solo bedroom pop project, dance party karaoke machine, and - most recently -rock band". Yet another fine Brooklyn band.		Hhappiness All Kinds Of Trouble Here's a nice sounding singe from four "multi-instrumentalist existentialists" based in Stockholm releasing* this as their first official 7" on French label Almost Musique. Find out more on Bandcamp!*
	Gauntlet Hair Keep Time Andy R. and Craig Nice from Denver make loud music. The pair’s shifting, epic avant pop sounds amazing and they quite recently went on to sign with Dead Oceans.		LCTRISC Please Wait On Yourself Second act on Swedish label Despotz this time, also the second time we air them. You really have to find out more about them on Vimeo, they have some cool videos out.
	Half Moon Run Full Circle You have to check out the full album (out on Indica) from these guys, it's one of the better ones we've heard so far this year. This folky young trio hails from Montreal, Canada.		Reina Republicana La Ciudad Ardiendo Pamplona based indie band for fans of The Pains of Being Pure At Heart and the "Sarah Records roster of the mid 80s". Check out their full length on Limbo Starr, partly available through Bandcamp.
	Lotus Plaza Strangers Lotus Plaza is the solo project of American musician Lockett Pundt, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist of Atlanta-based ambient group Deerhunter. Kranky Records is his label. Worth checking out!		Reptar Orifice Origami Athens based "disco dust" indie pop band which took us by storm by the end of last year when we first aired their song Rainbounce. Worth spending some time on, you will like it a lot!.
	Lower Dens Lamb We already adore the sound of Beach House and here's another fine Baltimore act to keep an ear on. Taken from their full length LP Nootropics, out on April 30 via Ribbon.		Snailhouse I Never Woke Up Snailhouse was the lo-fi solo project of Wooden Stars singer/guitarist Mike Feuerstack. He began recording as early as 1990. Now he's back with a new LP called Sentimental Gentleman, produced by Jeremy Gara (of Arcade Fire).
	Princeton Andre We've aired them before and we will air them again! New stuff from Santa Monica group Princeton consisting of twin brothers Jesse and Matt Kivel plus two friends. Timeless indie pop!		The Yellow Dogs Molly Post punk rockers The Yellow Dogs will be releasing the EP "Upper Class Complexity" on May 8th. After they appeared in a 2009 documentary about Tehran’s underground music scene, they faced potential arrest, and now live in Brooklyn.
	Boarding Surface Nightlife Here's a great new act on Sweden-based label Despotz. For fans of Interpol and Joy Division. They had an EP out a year ago and this new one-off single is produced by Christer Björklund (Di Leva, Robyn).		Üni Foreman Cooper Swedish label No Method has released quite an amount of good singles over recent time. Here's a new band from Kågedalen (don't ask us for directions) who've promised to "re-issue the Bitches, bitches, bitches EP on tape". Like!
	Ramona Falls Sqworn OMG! There's a full length coming up and we really think you should hear this song taken from it. The project started out in 2009 and is a solo vehicle for Menomena multi-instrumentalist Brent Knopf.		Tanlines Rain Delay Jesse Cohen and Eric Emm are Tanlines and their debut album "Mixed Emotions" is out now on True Panther Sounds / Matador. It's dancy and beautiful! We aired their first single "Real Time" about a year and a half ago.

	A Place To Bury Strangers You Are The One The Brooklyn-based shoegaze/indie rock group are back with a new album via Dead Ocean on June 26. This is the first single and it's a little less noisy than previous material. We like it!		Best Coast The Only Place Best Coast are back with "more Cali love than ever"! This is the first single from the forthcoming album out May 15 on Mexican Summer. Here's our live recording of the band's gig at Emmaboda two years ago.
	Bear In Heaven The Reflection Of You Their new album "I Love You, It's Cool" hit the shelves this week, go grab it, it sounds brilliant. Bear In Heaven has been around for almost a decade, though initially as a solo project by Jon Philpot.		Ewert And The Two Dragons Good Man Down Second single of the second album from the good-sounding Estonian band that recently was announced for Hultsfred, one of the major festivals in Sweden. Out now on Gothenburg label Adore.
	Eric & Magill All Those I Know Friendly Fire Recordings decided to release Ryan Weber and Eric Osterman's nice-sounding project and we should all be very thankful about that. Find your way to their Bandcamp for more goodies!		Happy Hands Club Gardem Of Eden Lots of Gothenburg related tracks this time, here's another fine act on local label Luxury. Recently signed to the new booking agency Hybris together with acts such as Jonathan Johansson, Familjen and Lucas Nord.
	Kishi Bashi Bright Whites Regina Spektor's touring violinst and of Montreal member has some amazing solo stuff out on Joyful Noise Recordings this Spring. His live show is a solo performance based on live violin and vocal looping and beat boxing.		Japandroids The House That Heaven Built Canadian rock duo from Vancouver releasing on Polyvinyl. They are known for their intensive live performances and the track is one of the most explosive this time.
	Lost In The Trees Golden Eyelids Anti Records' Chapel Hill quintet started out in 2010. They say "growing old and fear of death" is a major influence. New album out now, preceeded by impressive shows at SXSW. Check them out!		Linda Guilala Un Millón De Zombies Más Taken from the Paranormal EP out now on Spanish label Elefant Records. For fans of shoegaze acts such as Lush and Ride. Check out the video too!
	Lucy Dreams VHS Thanks to a friend's friend's Twitter account this shoegaze act from Georgia came to our knowledge last weekj. Their album "Vivian" was released last year and it's definitely worth listening to, it's on Spotify!		Lissy Trullie It's Only You, Isn't It Born in Washington DC, now based in New York. In late 2009, Lissy signed to Downtown Records and Wichita Recordings. Her debut, self-titled album will be released on April 10th, 2012.
	Pinkunoizu Parabolic Delusions Danish experimentalist formed recently from the eight people strong Le Fiasko. Recorded in the band's own rehearsal space in Copenhagen and Berlin and released by the Full Time Hobby imprint last week.		Monde Idéal Future Waits There's really not much written about this Stockholm act. Described by themselves to be "moving sounds". We don't really care for biographies too long to ready anyway, just listen and enjoy!
	Seeker Lover Keeper Even Though I'm A Woman The trio each have separate solo careers as singer-songwriters. Their debut album hit Australian's top chart on third spot last year. This is most probably the strongest track from that record, now out in Europe!		Terrible Feelings Intruders Yet another band to see the daylight on Adrian Recording's new sub-label Double Sun. Perhaps the most punk-sounding track this time, hope you like it, we do!
	Soko First Love Never Die French actor and artist Stéphanie Sokolinski has been around for a while but now she seems to gain the well-deserved hype needed for a breakthrough. Warner Records will help her accomplish that mission!		The Culture In Memoriam Jimmie Swedish right-wing politician Jimmie Åkesson seems to be a huge influence for many bands around Sweden nowadays, of course. Luckliy most songs are no tributes!
	Swim Deep King City All over UK last week after some major radio and magazine buzz. We think this Birmingham band are here to stay, they do sound very nice! They describe themselves as grunge pop if it helps?		First Love, Last Rites Walk You Home From the No Method label based in Umeå, northen Sweden, comes this fine indie rock act. This is the first single from their second album, rumoured to be more melodic than previous releases.
	The Slow Readers Club Feet On Fire We came across these fine Mancunians last week when bumping in to the video for this song. The seem to have quite a strong local support, about time for them to reach overseas!		Bondage Fairies Devil "Spawn from the carcass of a chewing gum!" as described by Finkus Lahoya. "Bondage Fairies is probably the only nintendo-death-punk band that the cold country of Sweden has squeezed out from its fleshy womb"
	Wild At Heart Darling Stockholm-based electro-pop phenomenon, formely known as Cleast Eatwood, has just released this amazing track. We rarely use the term floorfiller, but quite honestly, it's hard to describe it without.		We Were Born Canaries Go Cold Turkey The two danes Stine Grøn & Jakob Steen releasing their debut album on April 23 2012 on A:Larm Music.

Disappears Replicate We haven't aired many Chicago bands, don't know why, but here's one! "We probably wouldn't exist without him, so Happy Birthday Mark E. Smith." Signed to Kranky.
	Blood Orange Forget It Lightspeed Champion's Devonte Hynes' other project besides being a brilliant songwriter/producer for Florence & the Machine and Chemical Brothers.		Father John Misty Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sing Ex-Fleet Foxes member Josh Tillman is just about to release a full-length album on Bella Union. Here's the third track and the rest will be out by the end of April.
	Cate Le Bon Puts Me To Work A duo of New Yorker-turned-Berliner JJ Weihl and Berlin-born Jonathan Jarzyna recording. This Morr act has seven (!) gigs planned for this year's SXSW in Austin in three weeks.		Husky The Woods Not to be mixed up by the Mexcian band Husky that we added last month. This band hails from Melbourne, Australia and recently got signed to Sub Pop for their debut LP "Forever So" which is out now.
	Delta Spirit California Sweet new stuff from San Diego's indie rockers.Third (self-titled) album out now on Rounder Records and the band does several performances at the SXSW showcase festival in Austin as we speak.		Kirsten & Marie Na Na Nana Nana Nana Danish label Tambourhinoceros has presented loads of great stuff over the years and here's another fine piece of art. The 20-year old twins Kirsten & Marie, with the first single from the forthcoming album "Newspeak", out on on April 23rd.
	Fanzine Dream Of You One of the first signings to the newly announced Best Fit Recordings (founded by Richard Thale of The Line of Best Fit). Fanzine are a nice-sounding four-piece from Stoke Newington, UK.		Lightships Sweetness In Her Spark Teenage Fanclub's bassist Gerard Love who lives in Glasgow has recorded an album "with the help of some friends". We thought that you should hear some stuff from it, enjoy!
	Hospitality Friends Of Friends Brooklyn three-piece on Merge (Arcade Fire, Destroyer and M Ward). As described by their label "Friends of Friends" could break the Hot 100 with its heavy intro, swingin' breakdown, and horn riffs".		Moonface vs Siinai Teary Eyes And Bloody Lips Canada's Moonface teams up with Finland's kraut-rock heroes for an LP. Moonface is Spencer Krug (Wolf Parade, Sunset Rubdown, Frog Eyes, Swan Lake)
	Kindness Gee Up Adam Bainbridge says "Ninety-five per cent of everything you should want to know about a new artist should be in the record,”. Enough said, just listen to it!		Regina Spektor All The Rowboats Russian born pop sensation, based in New York since many years,needs no further presentation. She's back with a new album on May 30, it's called “What We Saw From The Cheap Seats”.
	Love Antell Stjärna där Singer and creative mind of one of Sweden's most political bands, Florence Valentin. He's back with a great solo track, sounding like East 17's Stay Another Day according to a fan post on Facebook.		Skansros Minnet av dig Swedish pop band releasing on Luxury, a fine Gothenburg based label run with a lot of love. They've been around for a while and it's time for a new album on March 21.
	Sailor & I Tough Love Wooho! What an amazing song from a band we first played about two years ago. I think we no longer will have to be reminded about them, they are here to stay. Brilliant songwriting from the Swedes!		The Drums Days You love them already, don't you? Here's the third single from the band's second album Portamento which was released last year. Find your way to our live recording in the archive too.
	Spoek Mathambo Let Them Talk feat. Yolanda Sub Pop certainly has a new hype on-board in this Johannesburg born act (now living in Sweden). Produced by Denmark's CHALLNGR and co-written by his wife Ana Rab aka Gnucci Bananaa.		The School Never Thought I'd SeeThe Day Spanish label Elefant released this single today! We aired their huge hit Valentine in 2010 and so it's a happy reunion to have them onboard again. Cardiff's finest pop band!
	The Cast of Cheers Family Here's another unsigned Irish act we play this year. Instant love! This four-piece describe their sound as "robot rock" and it sounds very promising.They seem to get quite a lot of attention on the BBC at the moment so keep an eye open for them!		This Vision 20th Century One of few unsigned acts this time, but that will probably not be a long-term situation. They hail from Helsingborg in South Sweden and they do sound great!
	The Mynabirds Generals Saddle Creek's music collective are a bunch of musicians based around singer-songwriter Laura Burhenn in Omaha, Nebraska. As with most other interesting US bands they play SXSW in Austin..		Xiu Xiu Hi Polyvinyl/Bella Union's post punk experimentalists celebrates ten years as a band and this song is from their tenth album "Always". Catchy!

	Crocodiles Sunday (Psychic Conversation #9) First single from the San Diego noise-punk outfit's* upcoming album "Endless Flowers". We dare to say it sounds very promising. Out on Frenchkiss/Souterrain Transmissions on June 5th.*		Caged Animals This Summer I'll Make It Up To You Their song Teflon Heart was charted as number two of our top songs of 2011. This is another single taken from their sophomore debut Eat Their Own out last year on Lucky Number.
	Ethan Gold Are We Recording? Taken from the self-released album "Songs From A Toxic Apartment". San Francisco born, LA-based Gold recorded it in his own apartment and it sounds just great!		Conduits Top Of The Hill Conduits, an Omaha band consisting of members of The Good Life, Eagle Seagull, Son Ambulance, Neva Dinova, Cursive, and The Golden Age, was formed in late 2009. Enjoy!
	Fenster Fantasy II A duo of New Yorker-turned-Berliner JJ Weihl and Berlin-born Jonathan Jarzyna recording. This Morr act has seven (!) gigs planned for this year's SXSW in Austin in three weeks.		Field Music Who'll Pay The Bills? Indie/art rock trio Field Music hails from Sunderland, England and they just released their third LP on the Memphies Industries imprint. You will like their energic sound!
	Frida Hyvönen Terribly Dark Sweden's queen of piano pop is back with a new song! This time a bit more electronic. As with her two earlier LPs, this one's produced by studio stalwart Jari Haapalainen of The Bear Quartet..		Frankie Rose Know Me Ex-Vivian Girls / Crystal Stilts / Dum Dum Girls drummer decided to work on her own material inspired by My Bloody Valentine releasing on the fine Slumberland label.
	Long Long Showers I'm All Ears Van Gogh From Sweden's "most dangerous" city, Malmoe, comes this not so dangerous indie pop act. Song is taken from their forthcoming self-titled debut EP out on April 26.		Husky Miami Yet another Mexican band that came across our inbox. No to be mixed up by Australia's Husky. This is pure pop happiness and they do have a funny video for this one, check it out..
	M Ward Primitive Girl Perhaps the most established artists of this bunch of new tracks. We know him from Monsters of Folk, She & Him and foremost as the genius of himself as a solo artist.		Joel Alme A Tender Trap Sweden's Joel Alme is just about to release his third solo album. Long time friend Martin Elisson (Hästpojken) and TSOOL drummer Fredrik Sandsten contributes on that record.
	Napoleon IIIrd The Unknown Unknown Another fine piece of art from the taste makers over at London's Brainlove Records. This is a solo project by James Mabbett from the Leeds/Wakefield music scene..		Markus Krunegård Askan Är Den Bästa Jorden One of Sweden's most popular indie solo artists are back with another song taken from his forthcoming album "Mänsklig värme". Premiered live on Grammis the other week.
	Posse Sarah Seattle-based trio describing themselves as "the musical equivalent of a condor dying in mid-air and falling to the ground, its wings still flapping and the wind forcing its beak away from the impact".		Of Montreal Spiteful Intervention Indie stalwarts emerging from the Elephant 6 music collective in Georgia in the mid 90s. This is a song taken from their fifteen-something LP, out now on Polyvinyl.
	The Ghosts Enough Time Electronic pop quintet from London releasing on Pocket Records. An up-tempo song that immediately caught our attention upon hearing one of our friends play it loud at the office last week.		Oh My! Fifteen Minutes Yet another fine pop gem from our new favourite band of northern Sweden. Sometimes they sound like The Strokes, this song could have been a B-side for Last Night.
	The Proper Ornaments Drop Off Another London-based group we found surfing Bandcamp the other month. James Hoare of Veronica Falls and Argentinian Max Clapps formed this band in 2010..		Perfume Genius Dark Parts Did you see the video for Hood from the same album? Genius! One of Matador's better signings in recent time, Seattle's Mike Hadreas make music so beautiful it will make you cry.
	We Are Augustines Headlong Into The Abyss Main support for The Boxer Rebellinon and Kaiser Chiefs and favourites of UK's The Sun. This Brooklyn indie rock group played David Letterman the same night we added this song.		Sennen Vultures Known to a wider audience for their brilliant cover of New Order's Bizarre Love Triangle a couple of years ago. This song is a promising taste of what's to come.
	Wonder Coast New Hope A garage rock band from Southern Sweden that does not sound garage, that is a great configuration. We like the production and the intense riffs of this new song out since January.		Svedberg & the Hillside Stranglers Only Place I Know Mmm, sweetness! The pulse of this song is amazing and the voice of Niklas Svedberg adds a laid-back touch to it, still sounding epic with some nice orchestration.

	Alex Winston Choice Notes Born in Detroit, this classically trained opera singer moved to New York to perform and release her own material. Her third LP "King Con" is out on V2/Cooperative March 6.		Alpaca Sports Just For Fun Gothenburg based label Luxury has so many lovely acts to answer for, here's a new one. Andreas Jonsson and friends won't let you sit still and don't try not to sing along!
	Andrew Bird Eyeoneye Singer/songwriter/violinist releasing albums since the mid-90s. You won't stay untouched, try his forthcoming album on Mom & Pop (Sleigh Bells, Metric and Tired Pony).		Bellman I Suppose "Larviks finest exponents of epically glacial indie rock", Arne-Johan Rauan, had this song out on Lazy Acre Records already in early 2011 but it took a while for us to find it!
	Bears Eleven A.M. Instant love! This song is available as a free download from the band's label, Misra Records. They are from Cleveland and released their debut in 2006. Current album is Kickstarter funded!		Cadillac High For Me West Australian dream pop for fans of "guitar solos, slow mo piano jams and the sounds of balearic, disco, pop and rock". Signed to Future Classics.
	Bleeding Knees Club Nothing To Do One of The Drums' favourite bands playing "Thrash Pash Gash Rash" according to their own Facebook presentation. Songs less than two minutes always deserves your attention!		Caotico Sunrise Confessions One of few Swedish additions this round, signed to Sony Music's sublabel Baseline (Syket, Dante). The debut album from this Umeå act is out on February 22.
	Boy & Bear Feedling Line Aussie indie folk act originally a solo project for Dave Hosking. Their debut "Moonfire" was released in August last year and reached #2 in Australian Top 50 Albums Chart.		Electric Guest This Head I Hold Founded in Mexico in 2008 by Teri Gender Bender. Signed to Mars Volta's Omar Rodriguez-Lopez own label in 2010 where the released their debut LP in 2011.
	Fair Ohs Eden Rock This 7" single is taken from their fullength debut LP "Everything Is Dancing". A record for you Vampire Weekend fans enjoying joyful African-inspired sounds.		Grimes Genesis The musical and visual project of Grimes' is weaved together by Canadien born Claire Boucher who moved to Montreal in 2006 to become part of the emerging DIY scene.
	Heart-Sick Groans If The Canary Stops Singing An "indie pop folk electro hymn straight out of the legends of mining Medelpad" as described by this young Swedish band. They surely have an appealing approach to music!		Jonquil It's My Part Oxford band Jonquil came together in the mid 00s releasing their third LP on local artist community / label Blessing Force in 2012. We've aired them before, it's just a lovely band!
	Kristoffer & the Harbour Heads We Are All Different It's about time for some wide recognition for Kristoffer and the boys. This is the first song of their forthcoming LP "Little Goes A Long Way" produced by Ryan Kelly (Lou Reed, John Legend)..		Owlmother You Can Not Be Touched Sweden's Lina Wedin makes dark but catchy and melodic electro-pop that reminds us of Kate Bush and Fever Ray. Her second album "Räddhare" will be out this Spring.
	Of Monsters And Men Little Talks Iceland's next pop sensation! The new Arcade Fire according to Rolling Stone. We love this song and so will you. Epic folk pop with melodic choruses released by Universal Republic Records.		Peter Broderick It Starts Hear What an amazing song! The first ever we believe to actually prounounce "h t t p : / /" in a good (not the Top 40) way. Seriously, good stuff! Thank you Erased Tapes!
	The Shins Simple Song There's hardly no need to introduce this band. Front man James Mercer has been busy recording and touring with his Broken Bells project. New album out on March 21.		Philco Fiction Finally Norwegian trio based in Oslo releasing on Brilliance. This is a wonderful piano/voice driven song that grows and accelerates in pace, listen patiently to retrieve its maximum!
	We Have Band Where Are Your People We've aired them before and you probably heard about them, right? This "disco-rock-trio" consists of former EMI employees and formed in Manchester in 2008. Check them out!		The Mary Onettes Love's Taking Strange Ways The first extract of the band's new Dan Lissvik sound. He's the producer of the forthcoming 4-track EP out on Labrador on February 28. Exciting!
	Wise Blood Darlin' You're Sweet Pittsburgh's Christopher Laufman has begun to make a name for himself on the scene. Seven songs are out and an album ready to be mixed/mastered was confirmed a week ago on Facebook.		Those Darlins Screw Get Loose Soon-to-play Stockholm, we thought you might need another song from this hillbilly punk/pop girl group formed in Tennessee, releasing on Oh Wow Dang.
